The Farmers Market is open every saturday from 7:00AM to 12 noon. Come early! Parking spaces fill up after 9! At 12 noon, the Market Master will come by the market ringing a bell to signal the end of the market. Vendors are fined if they sell to people not already being helped after the market closes.
The market is located near three MTA bus lines. You can get to us by taking the #8 bus to Greenmount and 32nd. Also, you can take the #3 or the #22 bus to Greenmount and 33rd. Schedules are available from the MTA's website.
A small rack is available for bike parking.From areas north:
Take I-83 south. Exit at Coldspring Ln, heading East. At the top of the hill, make a right onto Roland Ave. At the fork, bear left. This is University Pkwy. Continue on University Pkwy past Union Memorial Hospital. University ends at a 5-way intersection. The market is located in the parking lot straight ahead.
From areas south:Take I-83 north. Exit at 28th St, heading East. Make a left at Barcalay St. In four blocks, the market will be on your right.
From areas east:Get to 33rd street, and head west. Continue past Memorial Stadium. Several blocks later, there is a five-way intersection. Make a left. The market is located on the left.
From areas west:Get to 28th street, and head east. Make a left at Barcalay St. In four blocks, the market will be on your right. Alternatively, take Coldspring Ln heading East, and follow directions for areas north.
